Job summary

GUNTHERS is seeking an HVAC design professional to produce 3D drawings and perform load calculations for on-site projects in Utah. You will manage project documentation, coordinate with clients and suppliers, and participate in design reviews.

Ideal candidates have Revit MEP experience (2020–2024), BIM 360, Navisworks, and a willingness to travel to customer sites. Utah residency or relocation is required.

Qualifications

• 1+ years HVAC design experience or plumbing design experience.
• Experience with HVAC/PLBG installation and specifications.
• Proficiency in Revit MEP (2020–2024), BIM 360, Navisworks.
• Self-starter who manages own work and stays productive.
• Organized and customer-service oriented with strong communication.
• Willingness to travel same-day to customer sites.
• Must live in Utah or be willing to relocate.
• PE license is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Produce 3D HVAC and plumbing drawings with connections, sizing, tagging.
• Perform HVAC and plumbing load calculations.
• Keep schedules, notes, and specs current on each project.
• Source cut sheets and add loads/diagrams to job sheets.
• Set up and manage projects in BIM 360.
• Coordinate with clients and internal team; work with suppliers.
• Attend meetings, standups, schematic reviews, and peer reviews.
• Visit sites to verify equipment and sizing; assist on installations.
