Orionplacement seeks a full-time, on-site Mechanical Engineer in Sandy, UT to design commercial HVAC and plumbing systems. You will produce detailed drawings and 3D models with Revit and perform load calculations.

Requirements: B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, 3+ years in HVAC/plumbing design, Revit proficiency, and EIT/FE or PE licensure (PE preferred). Strong communication and collaboration are essential; relocation assistance is available.

• 3+ years of commercial HVAC and plumbing design in a consulting environment.
• Strong hands-on Revit proficiency for mechanical system design.
• Experience with HVAC load calculations and design tools.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• EIT/FE certification or PE licensure, with PE preferred.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop commercial HVAC and plumbing systems for diverse building projects.
• Create detailed mechanical drawings, layouts, and 3D building models using Revit.
• Perform HVAC load calculations and engineering analyses to optimize performance.
