Job summary

Gutridge Plumbing, Inc. seeks an HVAC BIM Coordinator to create and coordinate LOD 400 HVAC models, shop/ spool drawings for fabrication and installation. You will interpret documents, identify conflicts, and lead cross‑functional coordination to support successful project execution.

Requirements include 2+ years in MEP coordination/VDC, proficiency in Revit and Navisworks, and willingness to learn new VDC tools while ensuring adherence to codes and installation methods.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in MEP coordination, VDC, and fabrication.
• Solid understanding of HVAC systems, codes, and industry best practices.
• Strong organizational and leadership abilities with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage detailed HVAC models, shop drawings, isometrics, schedules, and spool drawings for fabrication and installation.
• Interpret construction documents and identify conflicts, offering practical solutions.
• Lead internal coordination meetings and communicate updates to stakeholders, design teams, management, and field personnel.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and Superintendents to develop RFIs and resolve coordination challenges.
• Oversee third-party production teams as required.
• Generate Trimble layout points and use FieldLink.
