Job summary

Baker Distributing Company is seeking a reliable Driver Warehouse Associate to safely deliver HVAC products and maintain warehouse operations. You will load/unload trucks, collect invoices, and support inventory counts while upholding excellent customer service.

The role requires a valid DOT medical certificate, forklift experience is a plus, and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Minimum 1 year truck driving experience
• Box Truck delivery experience
• DOT medical certificate required prior to employment
• Able to meet DOT physical standards with accommodations
• CDL licenses desirable
• Warehouse experience including forklift/pallet jack is a plus
• Strong customer service-minded approach and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar tools
• Must be able to communicate in English for safety and training purposes

Responsibilities

• Represent Baker Distributing Company as a leader in the industry.
• Daily loading and unloading of products in truck for delivery to customers and other Sales Centers.
• Collect invoices with signatures and return to SalesCenter Manager.
• Assist in Warehouse with inventory counts, picking and verifying orders.
• Maintain daily truck maintenance checklist and report times.
• Follow safety protocols and use PPE as required.
• Report safety hazards or incidents to management.
• Participate in safety training sessions and drills.
• Ensure safe handling and storage of all products.
• Operate truck and warehouse equipment safely.
• Keep truck and workspace clean and organized.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
