Job summary

Baker Distributing Company is seeking an HVAC Delivery Driver & Warehouse Associate to safely deliver HVAC products and maintain warehouse operations. The role emphasizes exceptional customer service, proper loading/unloading, and adherence to safety protocols.

Candidates should have 1 year of truck driving experience, box truck delivery experience, and a DOT medical certificate. CDL is a plus; 21+ years old requirement applies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; equivalent experience considered.
• Minimum 1 year truck driving experience.
• Box truck delivery experience.
• DOT medical certificate required prior to employment.
• Must meet DOT physical qualification standards (with accommodations).
• CDL licenses are highly desirable.
• Warehouse experience with forklift/appliance lift is a plus.
• Strong customer service mindset and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate in English for safety and procedures.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years old.

Responsibilities

• Represent Baker Distributing in a professional manner.
• Daily loading and unloading of products for delivery.
• Collect invoices with signatures and return to Manager.
• Assist in warehouse with inventory counts and order picking.
• Maintain daily truck maintenance checklists and report times.
• Follow safety protocols and use PPE as required.
• Report safety hazards to management.
• Participate in safety training sessions and drills.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of products.
• Operate truck and warehouse equipment safely.
• Maintain a clean, organized truck and workspace.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
