Job summary

Johnstone Supply LLC in Fayetteville, NC seeks an experienced Driver to ensure safe, on-time delivery of HVACR products to customers and store locations. You will build strong customer relationships through reliable service and accurate deliveries.

Responsibilities include route planning, loading/unloading, completing paperwork, basic vehicle maintenance, and coordinating with the supervisor on safety and service issues.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1+ years of truck driving experience (26 ft vehicle or larger) or 1 year operating Johnstone equipment/vehicles.
• 6+ months of warehouse/distribution experience preferred.
• CDL and forklift certification preferred; OSHA knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintains positive relationships with customers by providing exceptional service and accurate deliveries.
• Safely operates company vehicles in compliance with DOT, state, federal, and company standards.
• Loads and unloads trucks; checks deliveries against orders and prepares routes.
• Completes manifest with signatures and returns paperwork as required.
• Maintains vehicle cleanliness and performs routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Records delivery information and communicates issues to supervision promptly.
