Job summary

Johnstone Supply in Summerville, SC seeks a Delivery Driver to ensure safe, timely transportation of HVACR equipment to customers and store locations. Role includes driving, route planning, loading/unloading, and completing delivery paperwork.

Qualified candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED, 1+ years driving experience with a 26 ft vehicle or larger, and a valid license. CDL preferred; forklift certification a plus. Comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED and 1+ years truck driving experience (26 ft vehicle or larger) or 1 year operating Johnstone equipment.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with clean driving record; CDL preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred and experience with inventory systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers and store locations safely and on time.
• Drive company vehicles and equipment in compliance with DOT and company standards.
• Maintain truck cleanliness and perform routine vehicle inspections.
• Record deliveries and paperwork, including PODs and manifests.
• Assist warehouse operations when not driving, including inventory tasks.
