Job summary

Johnstone Supply, a leading HVACR distributor, seeks a Driver to ensure safe, timely delivery of products to customers and store locations. Responsibilities include driving, route sequencing, loading/unloading, and maintaining equipment.

Required is a valid license with clean driving history; CDL is preferred. Knowledge of HVAC wholesale and warehouse systems is a plus. On-site work with potential forklift usage and routine vehicle maintenance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; 1+ year truck driving experience (26 ft vehicle or larger) or 1 year operating Johnstone equipment/vehicles under supervision.
• Valid driver's license with safe driving history; CDL preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Knowledge of HVAC wholesale industry helpful.
• Ability to read maps and use mapping applications accurately.

Responsibilities

• Drive and deliver products safely and on time to customers and store locations.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine inspections and maintenance.
• Load and unload trucks; verify deliveries against orders.
• Prepare routes and adhere to schedules; communicate delivery issues to supervisor.
• Maintain contact with supervisor via radio/phone for expedited delivery instructions.
• Record delivery information and complete required paperwork; return vehicle with full fuel and logs.
