Johnstone Supply, North America's leading wholesale distributor of HVACR equipment, is hiring a delivery driver/material handler. You will deliver to customers, load/unload, and support warehouse operations with a focus on safety and accuracy.

The role emphasizes customer service, timely deliveries, and safe operation of vehicles and equipment. A strong driving record and forklift experience are valued, with opportunities for growth within a large distribution network.

Qualifications

• Must have reliable transportation and clean driving record.
• Ability to read maps and use GPS for routing and delivery verification.
• Experience operating delivery vehicles and forklifts is preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred and OSHA/safety knowledge beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Maintain positive relationships with customers and ensure timely delivery of products.
• Serve as field contact to gather delivery expectations and communicate with supervisor.
• Safely operate company vehicles and equipment per DOT and company standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of truck and work areas; perform routine inspections and report issues.
• Load/unload trucks and verify deliveries against orders; prepare routes and schedules.
• Drive box trucks to deliver supplies to customer sites and Johnstone locations.
• Communicate delivery instructions and issues to supervisor promptly.
• Record sales/delivery details and complete required paperwork.
