Job summary

Johnstone Supply, a leading HVACR distributor, seeks a Material Handler/Driver to receive, stock, and ship products efficiently. You will handle loading/unloading, order picking, and route execution using forklifts and standard warehouse equipment.

Responsibilities include ensuring accuracy, safety, and timely delivery while maintaining vehicle and equipment. A valid license and forklift certification are required, with a shift from Monday to Friday and potential rotational hours.

Qualifications

• Education and experience aligned with warehouse and driving roles.
• High school diploma or GED required; forklift experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive a 26 ft+ vehicle; forklift certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate power equipment (forklift, pallet jack) to stock and move products safely.
• Receive products by unloading trucks and verifying condition.
• Verify shipments against packing lists and complete paperwork.
• Pick, pack, and load orders; minimize product damage.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness; follow SOPs and report issues.
• Drive company vehicles per DOT/state regulations and maintain logs.
