Job summary

Johnson Controls Inc. is seeking skilled HVAC mechanics to service light and commercial HVAC systems. The role involves installation, maintenance, and repair of rooftop units, pumps, fans, boilers, chillers, and related equipment.

You will work with a team to deliver high-quality service, while adhering to safety standards and company policies. The position emphasizes customer communication, timely problem resolution, and providing quotes; travel may be required, and promotion opportunities

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years commercial/industrial HVAC troubleshooting experience.
• Must be a member or willing to join the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipe Fitting Industry of the United States and Canada, AFL-CIO.
• Universal EPA refrigerants license and applicable state or local licensing.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel 10%–20%.
• Ability to write and communicate clearly with customers about problems, causes, and corrective actions.
• Self-starter with a focus on safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repair and replacement services on commercial heating and cooling systems.
• Provide quotes and solutions to customers; upsell where appropriate.
• Work with local market mechanics, Servicemen and apprentices.
• Participate in training programs to gain HVAC product knowledge and sales quoting.
