Job summary

Gemaire Distributors is seeking a Counter Sales Associate for our wholesale HVAC distributorship in Ocala, FL. You will be the first line of contact at the counter, helping customers select products, entering orders, and expanding sales opportunities.

The role requires 1+ year in counter sales (HVAC preferred), strong communication, and a customer-first attitude. Schedule is Monday–Friday with occasional Saturdays; safety and showroom maintenance are also part of the job.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers at the sales counter and answer product questions.
• Enter customer orders and help select products.

• Communicate order status and delivery timelines.
• Upsell related items when possible.
• Maintain showroom merchandising and restock.
• Adhere to safety policies.
• Handle inquiries about pricing and quotes.
• Complete full sales order process.
