Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a skilled HVAC technician to service commercial environments, including healthcare and education facilities. You will commission, troubleshoot, repair, and start up HVAC systems, using knowledge of air conditioning theory, pipe fitting, and mechanical layouts.

Collaboration with internal and external partners will be common to support facility setups and retrofits. The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, 5+ years HVAC experience, EPA certification,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; 5+ years HVAC experience preferred.
• EPA Certification required; technical schooling training preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; comfortable with handheld devices for field data.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates with team leader and customer to understand requirements for on-site installation and repairs.
• Serves as direct customer contact; responsible for equipment on assigned projects and ensures customer satisfaction by diagnosing and repairing equipment.
• Uses blueprints or engineering specifications to diagnose and repair units; works with various hand-tools and software.
