Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking an on-site HVAC technician to commission, troubleshoot, repair, and start up systems at customer locations. You will use your knowledge of air conditioning theory, pipe fitting and mechanical layouts while collaborating with internal and external partners on facility projects.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent, 5+ years HVAC experience, EPA Universal Certificates, proficiency with MS Office and handheld devices, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; 5+ years HVAC experience; EPA Universal Certificates.
• Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office; handheld computer usage.
• Valid driver’s license for 12+ months; clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates with team leader and customer to understand on-site installation and repairs; forecast issues and gather materials.
• Serve as direct customer contact; diagnose and repair equipment at customer locations.
• Use blueprints/engineering specs and hand-tools to diagnose and repair units; ensure safety and asset accountability.
