Qualifications

• Applicants must meet the SOE and minimum qualifications for Trades and Labor Occupations.
• Ability to interpret work orders, blueprints, sketches and manuals is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex troubleshooting, repairs, overhaul, modification, and servicing of HVAC and refrigeration units.
• Operate and repair HVAC systems controlled by computer-based systems (DDC, VAV, electronic controls).
• Inspect equipment for damage, leaks, and electrical conditions; read manuals and publications to install large units up to ~200 tons.
• Program and install HVAC control systems and repair Direct Drive Controllers and VAVs.
• Utilize building automation software to complete work and ensure system performance.
