Job summary

LONG Building Technologies, Inc. is seeking an Apprentice HVAC Controls Technician in Renton, WA to assist in programming temperature control systems per project specs.

You will help other technicians with installation, warranty, emergency, and maintenance service of systems in commercial environments. Qualified candidates will have tech-school exposure, basic programming skills, and a willingness to learn in our ASP program.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills to solve software and integration challenges.
• Ability to interpret mechanical plans and specifications.
• Working knowledge of heating, ventilation, air conditioning systems, control systems, building automation, electrical systems, energy management.

Responsibilities

• Assist with programming databases for supported systems to meet sequences of operation.
• Help calibrate and check-out control systems and ensure commissioning requirements are met.
• Assist in preparing and delivering graphical user interfaces for projects.
