Job summary

LONG Building Technologies, Inc. is seeking an Apprentice HVAC Controls Technician in Silverdale, WA. You will help program temperature control systems based on project specs and assist technicians with installation, warranty, and maintenance tasks.

Pay range is $25.00-$30.00 per hour plus potential profit share. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with matching, PTO, tuition reimbursement and more.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills for solving software and integration challenges.
• Ability to interpret mechanical plans and specifications.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, control systems, and building automation.
• Willingness to learn and handle multiple tasks with responsibility.
• Customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist programming databases for controlled systems meeting sequences of operation.
• Support calibration and commissioning of control systems per LONG standards.
• Provide labor for GUI preparation and delivery when required.
• Update drawings and maintain as-built records; submit redlines.
• Enroll in ASP Building Automation Technician Program and stay current.
