Job summary

Mestek, Inc. is seeking an HVAC Technical Service Representative focused on controls to provide post-sale technical support by phone, email, and remote diagnostics.

You will guide customers and field technicians through system configurations and operation, resolving issues efficiently while applying strong knowledge of Mestek control systems. The ideal candidate has hands-on HVAC experience, a solid understanding of system operation, and the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or technical certification in HVAC or related field.
• Strong understanding of HVAC system operation and components.
• Experience with BACnet, LonWorks, Modbus or N2 protocols.
• Hands-on experience with control systems and analog signals (0–10V, 4-20mA).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
• Willing to travel domestically as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide phone-based and email support on troubleshooting HVAC system issues.
• Develop and maintain a deep technical understanding of Mestek control systems.
• Verify control system functionality through hands-on testing and analysis.
• Collaborate with engineering to update manuals, installation guides, and docs.
• Occasionally provide training to customers or field technicians.
• Record and document support cases in the ticketing system.
• Perform other similar or related duties as required.
