Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering.
• 5+ years automotive engineering experience.
• Experience with requirements development, systems engineering, or embedded controls development within automotive applications.
• Familiarity with CAN and LIN networks and automotive system interactions.
• Strong analytical, organizational, documentation, and communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Serve as the technical owner for assigned HVAC controls feature requirements and maintain requirements integrity throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Develop clear, testable, and traceable requirements supporting climate comfort, energy optimization, thermal management, and heat pump control strategies.
• Ensure end-to-end traceability from vehicle and system requirements through software implementation, calibration development, validation, and production release.
• Collaborate with software, calibration, validation, program, and supplier teams to align requirements with vehicle-level performance objectives and program milestones.
• Lead requirements reviews, approval activities, change management, and configuration management processes.
• Identify requirement gaps, inconsistencies, and integration risks and drive resolution across the development lifecycle.
• Support root cause investigations by evaluating requirements coverage and identifying opportunities for improved controls performance.
• Capture lessons learned and continuously improve HVAC controls requirements, development processes, and engineering best practices.
