Job summary

Stellantis seeks a Systems Requirements Engineer within its Vehicle and Propulsion Controls organization to develop controls solutions for next-generation Powertrain technologies.

The role leads the design and development of requirements for features, collaborates with Product Management, and provides technical leadership while translating stakeholder needs into traceable system models using SysML and tools like IBM Rhapsody.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in System Engineering, Design Engineering, Controls Development or Calibration.
• Able to create logical and physical schematics.
• Experience authoring requirements and specifications.
• Exposure to model-based system engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Analyze Functional Objectives to assess feasibility and provide feedback.
• Design and develop feature design and requirements for assigned features.
• Design and develop the DFMEA for features assigned to the team.
• Plan and deliver based on requests from external stakeholders.
• Participate in Feature team meetings for planning and tracking.
• Collaborate with Product Management to prioritize deliverables and mitigate risks.
• Provide active technical leadership and guidance to the team.
• Represent the team to external stakeholders, customers, and other teams.
• Work with other teams to identify dependencies and resolve risks.

Education

Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

Master of Science or PhD in Applied Physics, Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering
