Job summary

Johnson Controls in Dublin, OH seeks a Controls Project Manager for the HVAC division to lead on-site control systems projects, manage costs, and ensure profitability while delivering customer satisfaction. You will direct installation, commissioning, programming, and documentation, coordinating with subcontractors and clients, and forecasting revenue and margins.

Candidates should have an associate degree with related field experience or equivalent, strong leadership, and proficiency in Windows

Qualifications

• Associate's degree with 4+ years field experience or 6 years equivalent in HVAC/Building Automation.
• Hands‑on design and commissioning experience for digital HVAC/building automation controls.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities; ability to explain technical material to non-technical audiences.
• Proficient in Windows and Excel; knowledge of control theory and HVAC systems.
• Experience with project accounting, costing practices, and contracting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Acts as on-site project leader to plan, execute, and complete control systems projects.
• Manage overall financial results including costs, billings, collections and profitability.
• Lead installation, device verification, commissioning of system controllers, and documentation.
• Coordinate with customers, subcontractors, and Johnson Controls staff; pursue change orders when needed.
• Provide training and documentation for owner/operators; ensure warranty execution.
• Develop and maintain relationships with contractors, clients, and vendors; lead progress meetings.
