Job summary

Texas AirSystems in Texas is seeking an experienced HVAC DDC BAS Controls Project Manager to lead installation, programming, start-up, troubleshooting, commissioning and servicing of DDC building automation systems. You will communicate with customers, contractors, engineers and staff to keep projects moving smoothly.

Responsibilities include managing subcontractors, scheduling programmers, reviewing submittals, and ensuring timely project completion.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience as a Project Manager on HVAC BASE systems (LON, BACnet, Niagara Tridium).
• Willingness to work overtime/weekends.
• Able to read plans, submittal drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic understanding of IP networks.
• Occasional travel may be required.
• 5 years with Tridium, Lonworks, BACnet.
• Valid driver’s license with clean history.
• Niagara Tridium AX/N4 familiarity; Siemens/Talon/Distech exposure.

Responsibilities

• Manage installation subcontractors during construction to keep on schedule.
• Oversee checkout, start-up and commissioning on BAS projects.
• Schedule programmers and technicians post-installation.
• Review submittals for BAS projects.
• Prepare monthly AIA forms for progressive billings.
• Coordinate customer training and project closeout documents.
• Provide technical support to end-users and staff.
