Job summary

Texas AirSystems, LLC. is seeking an experienced Controls Service Technician to perform start-up, troubleshooting, commissioning, servicing, and training of DDC Building Automation Systems across multiple sites in Texas.

You will work with customers, contractors, and engineers, communicating clearly and ensuring proper system functionality, with overtime and on-call flexibility as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience with HVAC Building Automation Systems, specifically with Niagara.
• Deep understanding of BACnet protocol, with some Lonworks and Modbus experience.
• Must have good computer skills and be familiar with IP networks.
• Proven ability to communicate clearly with customers, engineers, and peers.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain customer relationships, primarily on occupied building contracts.
• Analyze problems and resolve issues to ensure proper system functionality.
• Explore opportunities for advanced building operations and energy savings.
• Create and modify animated graphics and perform minor software changes.
• Perform service repairs, adjustments, and calibration on Building Automation Systems.
• Provide technical support and training to customers as applicable.
• Checkout, start-up, and commissioning on controls projects.
• Mentor and assist peers as applicable.
