Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an installation technician to join an intelligent building solutions company that has helped customers optimize their operations for over 40 years. You will work on Direct Digital Control systems in modern facilities.

Responsibilities include installing, troubleshooting, and configuring HVAC controls, mentoring junior engineers, and delivering site-specific training to owners and operators to ensure systems run reliably and efficiently.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in the HVAC field.
• Experience with HVAC controls or BAS.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Initiate, install, troubleshoot, and optimize customer systems that utilize advanced Direct Digital Control technology.
• Mentor and develop less experienced Field Engineers on all field tools and technology.
• Serve as local contact for technical issues.
• Offer effective solutions for complex system issues.
• Provide turnkey project delivery on medium to large projects.
• Responsible for ensuring that systems operate properly, to include controls, sensors, and software.
• Load software, configure trends, alarms, and reports.
• Implement time management strategies to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Communicate and document the status and details of the project for the customer.
• Provide site-specific training to owners/operators on the complete system.
