Daikin Applied, the world’s largest HVAC company, seeks a Controls Engineer in Plymouth, MN on-site to design and implement control sequences for cutting-edge equipment. You will collaborate with project teams, develop detailed controls systems, and test performance to meet customer needs.

Qualifications include a BS in Engineering or equivalent, and experience with vendors and cross-functional teams. Master’s in ABET-accredited program is a plus; HVAC knowledge is beneficial.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Ability to coordinate and communicate with vendors to perform work and services relating to mechanical/electrical facility systems.
• Master's degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution is preferred, especially in Electrical/Mechanical/Control Systems.

Responsabilidades

• Develop solutions to routine technical problems of limited scope.
• Under supervision, give limited advice and analyze information within a specific function for others within the organization.
• Evaluate, analyze, and make recommendations on products, designs, and cost improvements to improve Daikin's competitive position.
• Identify and procure materials needed to construct prototypes and participate in the design engineering of new models.
• Support the planning and development of test programs for prototypes.
• Analyze test data and reports to determine if designs meet specifications.
• Assist in analyzing, evaluating, sourcing, and coordinating procurement of new materials and components.
• Recommend cost improvement ideas through product, vendor, and design changes.
• Perform technical analysis of competitive products.
• Provide support to sales and marketing on product presentations and customer literature.
• Provide support to manufacturing to implement controls systems in manufactured products.
