Johnson Controls in High Point, NC is seeking an HVAC Controls Systems Designer to support design and programming of HVAC control systems under direct supervision. You will translate project requirements into hardware designs, software, submittals, and installation documentation while supporting commissioning and basic warranty response.

The role requires a university degree (or 2-year degree with sufficient experience) and demonstrated knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and control systems,

Formación

• University degree and 1 year of suggested minimum experience, or 2-year degree and 6 years of suggested minimum experience.
• Experience with installing and/or commissioning controls systems, including system-level controllers.
• Demonstrated knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
• Demonstrated technical aptitude.
• Demonstrated advanced computer skills.

Responsabilidades

• Design HVAC control system hardware and software using established standards.
• Prepare submittals and documentation communicating design to customers and field teams.
• Perform software programming and coordinate drawings, schedules, and manuals.
• Assist with loading, commissioning system controllers, and troubleshooting with subcontractors.
• Keep stakeholders informed of progress, risks, and issues; assist with site-specific training.
• Adhere to safety and quality standards throughout installation and startup.
