Job summary

Alloy Enterprises seeks a qualified technician to commission HVAC control systems using Johnson Controls tools in its Statesville, NC operations. You will load controller software, diagnose basic issues, calibrate systems, and maintain thorough commissioning documentation.

The role requires a vocational or associate degree with 3–5 years’ HVAC experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to explain technical concepts to varied audiences. On-site work and safety training are mandatory.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or vocational program plus 3 years of industry experience or 5 years' experience servicing electronic and/or mechanical HVAC systems.
• Knowledge of HVAC controls systems and facilities management systems.
• Ability to explain technical information to technical and non-technical people.
• PC experience and ability to program HVAC related software.
• Vaccination per policy where legally permissible.

Responsibilities

• Commission systems using Johnson Controls configuration and tools.
• Perform basic commissioning and diagnostics from system controllers to end devices.
• Provide progress updates to management, contractors or customers.
• Calibrate systems using basic electronic test equipment.
• Complete administrative tasks and documentation for commissioning.
