Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an HVAC Technician to perform system commissioning, diagnose basic HVAC issues, and respond to warranty calls. You will engage with customers to address building inefficiencies, provide timely solutions, and deliver high-quality service on-site as part of a safety-conscious team.

The role requires a 2-year degree or equivalent experience, proficiency with HVAC controls, and the ability to program related software, while upholding Johnson Controls’ safety standards and

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-year degree in electronics, mechanical systems, computer technology, HVAC, or equivalent, or 2 years of industry experience.
• Knowledge of HVAC controls systems and facilities management.
• Ability to explain technical information to technical and non-technical people.
• Leadership to support Mechanics on non-complex Building Automation equipment.
• PC experience and ability to program HVAC software.

Responsibilities

• Performs assigned system commissioning using Johnson Controls configuration and commissioning tools.
• Troubleshoots and resolves basic HVAC mechanical, electrical, and controls problems.
• Responds to basic warranty calls.
• Provide our customers with the highest level of service to solve building inefficiencies and resolve service-related items.
• As a trusted advisor to our customers, you will provide solutions and outcomes at the time of service.
