Job summary

ENFRA is a Fayetteville-based energy services company seeking a HVAC Controls Specialist II to join the Technical Services team. The role emphasizes evaluating, programming, optimizing, and testing building systems for RCx and Cx projects, on-site or remotely, with a solutions-based approach.

You will collaborate with project delivery teams, develop functional tests in CxAlloy, and prepare technical reports while advancing energy conservation measures.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent in HVAC, Energy Management, Building Automation or related field.
• +7 years of commissioning or related field experience with mechanical, electrical, building automation systems, programming, or building operation management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Attention to safety.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties per ENFRA policies, procedures, safety guidelines.
• Document and communicate activities, technical issues, and solutions to the project delivery team and Team Manager.
• Execute and complete assigned tasks and deliverables in a timely manner.
• Participate in site surveys, documentation review, and due diligence to determine facility conditions and energy conservation measures.
• Develop pre-functional checklists and functional performance tests in CxAlloy.
• Develop technical reports and project observations to support understanding of progress and on-site conditions.
• Implement energy conservation measures independently and with project delivery team partners when required.
• Oversee and conduct functional performance tests as part of construction scope acceptance.
