Qualifications

• Five years of HVAC control systems experience.
• At least two years operating, troubleshooting, and repairing Siemens DDC control systems.
• Strong knowledge of airflow and IAQ issues.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, service and repair HVAC control systems including pneumatic, electric, electronic, DDC, and general heating/cooling systems.
• Install, modify, and repair boilers, heating and cooling systems, and auxiliary equipment.
• Fabricate and install high and low-pressure piping and ducting; read mechanical plans and prints.
• Provide responsive customer support in building maintenance and operations.
• Advise customers on maintenance solutions and follow up on progress and status of work.
• May be assigned to work independently or as part of a multi-trade team; supply a complete set of hand tools.
• Work in research laboratory environments and around hazardous materials.
