Job summary

SPX Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Construction Project Engineer within SPX Cooling Technologies. The role coordinates project creation, scheduling, budgeting, and material management to ensure on-time, within-budget execution of construction projects.

You will assist Project Managers, develop execution plans, and monitor progress, with travel to support major outages as needed. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field.
• 1–3 years of construction management experience.
• Proficiency with project management software and ability to read construction drawings.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project creation, scheduling, and budgeting.
• Create projects and enter orders in SAP while assisting Project Managers.
• Schedule projects using Microsoft Project or Primavera P6 and ensure activities align with drawings and specs.
• Generate, review, and distribute submittals with progress updates and client reports.
• Budgeting, cost management, and materials oversight.
• Manage change orders, material demands, deliveries, and subcontractor scopes of work.
• Oversee project closeout and O&M manuals.
