Job summary

ENFRA LLC seeks an experienced Commissioning Provider to support Energy-as-a-Service projects, focusing on HVAC system optimization, operational performance, and energy savings verification. Projects span higher education and healthcare across multi-building portfolios, with an internal quality role collaborating with engineering, controls, and operations teams.

The role ensures sequences of operation match project intent, delivers energy performance targets, and supports successful turnover

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management or related field; alternative is 4 years of experience in lieu of degree.
• 5+ years of experience in HVAC controls, design, energy management, or other relevant fields
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong scope management and scheduling skills
• Ability to interact with owners, owner’s representatives, contractors, engineers and architects professionally while driving project outcomes
• Strong knowledge of commercial MEP equipment design and operations

Responsibilities

• Participate in retro-commissioning and commissioning efforts on assigned projects
• Participate in design and submittal reviews
• Develop pre-functional checklists and functional performance tests
• Attend and/or lead construction and commissioning meetings
• Lead and execute functional testing as part of the acceptance of construction scope
• Drive corrective actions when scope or performance gaps are identified
• Interact with the project team to ensure high-quality, functional and optimized systems
• Collaborate with team manager and Director to understand resources and track progress against timelines and budgets
• Mentor team members on complex commissioning tasks
• Familiarity with commissioning software and building automation systems
