Job summary

ENFRA seeks a Commissioning Provider to serve as a technical resource for Energy-as-a-Service projects, focusing on HVAC optimization, performance, and energy-savings verification across multi-building portfolios in higher education and healthcare. The role ensures design alignment with project intent and supports scalable delivery across complex programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4 years of experience in lieu of degree.
• 5+ years of experience in HVAC controls, design, energy management, or related field.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong scope management and scheduling skills.
• Ability to interact with owners, owners’ representatives, contractors, engineers and architects professionally.

Responsibilities

• Strong understanding of energy optimization and advanced sequences of operation.
• Participate in retro-commissioning and commissioning efforts on assigned projects.
• Participate in design and submittal reviews.
• Develop pre-functional checklists and functional performance tests.
• Attend and/or lead construction and commissioning meetings.
• Lead and execute functional testing as part of acceptance of construction scope.
• Drive corrective actions when gaps are identified.
• Interact with the project team to ensure high-quality, optimized systems.
• Collaborate with the team manager and Director on resources and timelines.
