Job summary

Alltech HVAC Inc in Des Plaines, IL is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician for service and installation of light commercial equipment. You will diagnose and repair systems such as RTUs, MAUs, EFs, and boilers, with a strong emphasis on reliability and integrity.

A minimum of 5+ years field experience, EPA and NATE licenses, and a clean driving record are required. We provide a company van and tools, 401K with matching after 90 days, and medical/dental insurance.

Qualifications

• Service and maintenance experience on light commercial HVAC equipment including RTUs/MAUs/EFs.
• Knowledge of multiple rooftop units and large/small split systems.
• EPA and NATE licenses required.

The ideal employee is a self-starter who will effectively diagnose and repair the equipment they service. With a balance between knowledge and integrity, we are seeking someone who will be honest about their work, do the best they can, and ask for help when they need it. Reliability is key. Self-starters who seek additional knowledge outside of work will be the most successful.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Service and maintenance experience on light commercial HVAC equipment, including RTUs, MAUs, EFs, hanging heaters, etc
• Knowledge of multiple manufacturer rooftop units and large / small split systems
• Must have electrical troubleshooting knowledge
• Steam and hot water boiler system experience a plus
• Must have 5+ years field experience
• Clean driving and criminal record, and current driver’s license
• Professional appearance
• Pass background check
• EPA and NATE licenses
• Available for emergencies
