Job description

Our client, a well-established commercial HVAC company serving San Diego County for more than 43 years, is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Commercial HVAC Estimator to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional looking for the chance to work with an industry leader.

Location & Compensation

San Diego County, CA

$25-$30/hr DOE

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• Overtime available on Saturdays as needed
• This is a fully office-based position
• No travel to customer homes or job sites is required

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate estimates, quotes, and proposals for commercial HVAC projects
• Review project specifications, labor requirements, and material costs
• Coordinate with technicians, vendors, and internal teams to ensure accurate project pricing
• Manage customer communication and project details through CRM software
• Support operations and project teams with timely and accurate quoting
• Maintain organized project documentation and follow-up activities
• Assist with bid preparation and pricing analysis for commercial projects

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years of commercial HVAC industry experience
• Commercial HVAC estimating experience is required
• Strong understanding of commercial HVAC systems, equipment, and terminology
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software
• Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Experience with project coordination, construction estimating, or technical sales is a plus
