Job summary

Venterra Realty is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support daily operations at Mission Mayfield Downs. You will handle work orders, perform repairs across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and more, and ensure move-in ready apartments through the TQMR program.

You’ll assist the Maintenance Manager and participate in on-call schedules to maintain resident satisfaction. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and efficient service, with opportunities to lead team efforts and coordinate with vendors.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in multifamily property maintenance, facilities management, or a related field.
• HVAC certification required ; CPO certification preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including participation in an on-call rotation.
• Lifting/carrying: over 75 lbs rare, 25–75 lbs occasional, 1–25 lbs constant.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident work orders promptly, ensuring quality service and adherence to guarantees.
• Perform maintenance and repairs across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, appliances, and exteriors.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to keep equipment and common areas in top condition.
• Assist the Maintenance Manager in daily operations.
• Prepare vacant apartments for new residents per the Total Quality Make Ready program as needed.
• Work independently while following company standards and prioritizing resident satisfaction.
