Job summary

Venterra Realty is seeking a Maintenance Technician at Canton Mill Lofts in Canton, GA to support the maintenance manager and keep all building systems running smoothly. You will handle repairs across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry and appliances, complete resident work orders quickly, and help prepare apartments for new residents under the TQMR program.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, and flexible on-call availability.

Qualifications

• HVAC certification required; CPO certification preferred.
• Proven experience in multifamily property maintenance, facilities management, or related field.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident work orders promptly, ensuring quality service and adherence to 24- and 48-hour guarantees where applicable.
• Perform maintenance and repairs, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, appliances, and exterior structures.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to keep equipment, tools, and common areas in top condition.
• Assist the Maintenance Manager in daily operations.
• Prepare vacant apartments for new residents by completing repairs, cleaning, and ensuring all features are in working order per our Total Quality Make Ready (TQMR) program as needed.
• Work independently while following company standards, demonstrating attention to detail, and maintaining a commitment to resident satisfaction.
• Provide emergency and on-call maintenance support as needed.
• Support the team with other duties as needed to maintain resident satisfaction and property standards.
