Job summary

Gatehouse Management, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician for The Lyric Apartments in Miami, FL.

You will assist the Maintenance Supervisor in keeping the community safe, comfortable, and well-maintained, performing routine repairs and preventive tasks to uphold property standards. This non-exempt, hourly role requires knowledge of HVAC systems, EPA guidelines, and basic electrical and plumbing work, with on-call duties and weekend hours as needed.

Qualifications

• 1 year of apartment maintenance experience or related field.
• Must be able to wear safety gear and perform routine repairs.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems and EPA regulations is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist maintenance supervisor in preserving safety, security, and comfort at the property.
• Perform electrical, plumbing, A/C, and appliance maintenance tasks as directed.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and keep work areas clean and organized.
• Respond to calls, assist in make-ready repairs, and coordinate with staff as needed.
