Job summary

Lynd Management Group, LLC seeks a dependable Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance and repairs across a multifamily property. You will respond to service requests, diagnose problems, and ensure resident comfort with timely, professional workmanship.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, painting, and preventative maintenance. A valid driver's license is preferred, along with basic computer skills and a commitment to safety and quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of facility, commercial, or multifamily maintenance and mechanical repair experience.
• Working knowledge of HVAC systems and preventive maintenance.
• General knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, appliances, lighting, painting, flooring, and apartment repairs.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and complete work orders on time.
• Diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC systems and perform preventive maintenance.
• Complete plumbing repairs, leaks, and clogs.
• Perform minor electrical repairs and replace light fixtures and related components.
• Repair appliances, locks, cabinets, walls, flooring, and other apartment features.
• Complete painting, touch-ups, and other make-ready duties.
• Inspect vacant apartments and ensure readiness for move-in.
• Maintain pools, equipment, common areas, grounds, and maintenance rooms.
• Report major repairs, safety hazards, and contractor needs to the Maintenance Supervisor or Property Manager.
• Maintain inventory of tools, parts, chemicals, and supplies.
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to after-hours emergencies.
