Job summary

Gulf Coast Housing Partnership, Inc. seeks a Maintenance Tech I who can oversee interior and exterior repairs across our apartment properties. The role requires hands-on maintenance of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general repair tasks.

Responsibilities include supervising a maintenance team, ensuring safety, managing inventory, and performing make-ready work on vacant units. EPA certification and a high school diploma are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• EPA certification required.
• Minimum 3 years in building/maintenance repair and 3 years supervising a maintenance team.

Responsibilities

• Repair minor electrical problems and high voltage tasks (110-220V).
• Perform carpentry, sheetrock, plumbing and appliance repairs.
• Troubleshoot and repair common equipment failures.
• Monitor inventory and order replacements as needed.
• Make-ready vacant units and assist with painting common areas.
• Implement preventive maintenance schedules and ensure safety.
• Travel between sites and provide resident service as needed.
• On-call rotation and available transportation to site locations.
