Gchp in Montgomery, AL seeks an experienced Maintenance Tech to manage upkeep of apartment complex buildings, systems, and fixtures including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and doors. You will perform repairs, assist with make-ready units, and help maintain safety.

The role requires at least three years in building maintenance and a supervisory background, EPA certification, and a valid driver's license.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED; EPA certification required.
• At least 3 years in building/mechanical maintenance and repair.
• At least 3 years supervising a maintenance team.
• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Ability to perform minor repairs and use hand tools.

Responsabilidades

• Repair minor electrical problems and high voltage issues (110-220V).
• Perform minor carpentry, drywall, subfloor, cabinet repairs, and plumbing fixes.
• Troubleshoot and repair minor appliances.
• Monitor inventory and place replacement orders.
• Make-ready maintenance on vacant units and assist painting of interiors and common areas.
• Implement a routine preventive maintenance schedule on all systems.
• Inspect property for safety hazards and address actions or report to supervisor.
• Complete resident work orders and service requests.
• Travel to suppliers to pick up parcels and supplies.
• Provide quality customer service in all duties.
• Other duties as assigned.
