Job summary

CSA Group is seeking a Certification Specialist – HVAC Performance and Energy Efficiency Verification in Plano, TX. The role requires strong knowledge of HVAC industry requirements, and substantial experience with DOE, NRCan, AHRI and Energy Star standards to deliver high‑quality certification, testing and field evaluation services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, with 6+ years of work experience in a related industry.
• Strong experience testing and reviewing data per DOE, NRCan, AHRI and Energy Star.
• Knowledge of CSA programs and services; ability to work unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently manages certification projects concurrently and ensures completion within time frames and cost deadlines to generate specified revenue targets.
• Reviews test data, reports and authorizes application of CSA Mark; prepares Certification Reports and Certificates of Compliance.
• Collaborates with Lab Technician to create work orders and determine test sequences and sample quantities.
• Participates in CSA Technical Network and supports international standards development.
