Job summary

Encon Heating & AC in Plainville, CT is seeking a Sales hunter to build a strong B2B sales career. No HVAC experience required; you'll learn the technical side while developing new business with owners and senior decision-makers.

Manage territory, target 500–800 properties, develop proposals, close maintenance programs, and grow your book of business with uncapped commission and a solid base.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• A true sales hunter—energized by creating new opportunities, not simply managing existing accounts.
• Recent graduate or experienced sales professional with demonstrated sales ability.
• Confident and persuasive in person and on the phone.
• Willing to learn commercial HVAC; no prior HVAC experience required.

Responsibilities

• Prospect, meet with business owners and senior decision-makers, survey commercial facilities, develop proposals, and close customized HVAC maintenance programs.
• Build a targeted list of approximately 500–800 qualified properties and own the development of that market.
• Organize your territory, build relationships, and grow your book of business.
• Close the business and have operations take it from there.
