Job summary

Encon Heating & AC in Milford, CT is seeking a results-driven sales hunter for a new-business development role serving the New Haven County market. You will prospect, meet business owners and senior decision-makers, survey facilities, develop proposals, and close customized HVAC maintenance programs.

Youll own a territory, building relationships and a book of business with autonomy, while the operations team handles post-close work. Training is provided to learn HVAC specifics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• A true sales hunter energized by creating new opportunities.
• Recent graduate or experienced sales professional welcome.
• Confident and persuasive in person and on the phone.
• Willing to learn HVAC; no prior HVAC experience required.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and meet business owners and senior decision-makers.

• Develop a targeted list of 500–800 qualified properties and own the market.
