Job summary

JLL is seeking an HVAC Mechanic in Bradley, IL to operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair BAS, HVAC/R, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across managed properties.

You will perform preventive maintenance, document work orders in CMMS and SAP, respond to temperature or comfort issues, and support safety and compliance throughout the site. The role requires EPA 608 certification and strong teamwork with rotating 12-hour night shifts.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in building engineering with HVAC/R, plumbing, electrical knowledge.
• 3 years field experience with trade school or 5 years total field experience.
• Universal EPA 608 Certification.
• HVAC design, electrical systems, low voltage controls knowledge.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Proficient with CMMS and SAP systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Operate, inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC/R and related mechanical equipment.
• Respond to indoor temperature and comfort issues promptly.
• Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
• Maintain system documentation and update work orders in CMMS and SAP.
• Conduct facility inspections and report conditions affecting operations.
• Assist with interior and exterior repairs as needed.
• Escalate issues and support team operations and compliance activities.
