Job summary

Cape Fear Community College in Wilmington, NC seeks a Maintenance Technician III to operate and maintain HVAC systems across campus. You will diagnose issues using building automation software, perform electrical, mechanical, plumbing and carpentry tasks, and keep detailed repair records.

You’ll support events and help ensure a safe, functional campus environment. Required is five years of journeyman HVAC experience, a high school diploma, and a valid NC driver’s license; commercial HVAC

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Five years of journeyman level HVAC maintenance experience.
• Commercial HVAC experience preferred.
• Valid NC driver's license required.
• Familiarity with safety procedures and MSDS.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain various HVAC systems across campus.
• Monitor and diagnose issues using building automation software.
• Perform electrical, mechanical, plumbing and carpentry tasks.
• Keep complete and accurate records of repairs and equipment.
• Assist in setup for special events and maintain safety on campus.
