Job summary

Aerotek is hiring an HVAC Technician in Plano, TX, to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems for commercial and residential settings. You will diagnose issues, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

This contract-to-hire role offers weekly pay and benefits; you will read blueprints and coordinate with customers, vendors, and internal teams to keep systems running efficiently.

Qualifications

• 2+ years HVAC maintenance or service experience is required.
• Experience with chillers, boilers, RTUs, air handlers, and ventilation equipment is preferred.
• Reading and interpreting electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems for commercial/residential applications.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system issues using diagnostic tools.
• Perform preventive maintenance on chillers, boilers, RTUs, air handlers, and ventilation equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair motors, compressors, condensers, evaporators, and control systems.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to support installation and repair work.
• Maintain accurate service records and work orders.
