Job summary

Qualifications

  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • Ability to perform semi-skilled trades work including minor plumbing, electrical, HVAC tasks.
  • Ability to perform minor repairs and adjustments to machinery and equipment.
  • Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions safely.
  • Skills in using hand and power tools and other trades equipment.
  • Knowledge of safety measures related to trades work.

Responsibilities

  • Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair campus HVAC and building automation systems.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and respond to service requests.
  • Monitor and adjust building automation and energy management systems.
  • Maintain HVAC equipment, controls, chillers, and related components.
  • Diagnose system issues and maintain accurate records.
  • Support regulatory and safety compliance and energy efficiency efforts.
  • Assist with estimating project needs and supporting other trades.
  • Maintain equipment spaces and perform additional duties as assigned.
