Job summary

Jefferson County, Colorado is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician HVAC to assist building operations and perform preventive maintenance on HVAC systems. The role includes evaluating equipment, repairing or replacing parts, and providing cost analyses for repairs.

You will maintain service records and ensure building programming functions correctly. Starting pay is $29.76 per hour with a top out at $44.64, and scheduled weekly hours are 40.

Qualifications

• Observes and maintains HVAC equipment and performs repairs as needed.
• Provides cost analyses for equipment repair and upgrades.
• Maintains databases and files related to maintenance activities.

Responsibilities

• Inspects HVAC equipment to determine status and perform repairs.
• Proposes equipment upgrades where appropriate.
• Maintains and repairs commercial food service equipment.
• Replaces and repairs plumbing equipment as required.
• Supports preventive maintenance program and records.
• Assists with other duties as assigned.
