Jefferson County is seeking a Building HVAC Technician to support building operations and repairs. The role conducts mechanical evaluations, performs maintenance, and ensures building programming functions properly.

It requires evaluating reports and handling service requests with a focus on preventive maintenance. The position offers a 4-day work week with occasional Fridays, evenings, and weekend shifts; starting hourly pay ranges from $32.00 to $37.20 plus benefits.

Qualifications

• 3 years of HVAC or work-related experience.
• Valid Colorado driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Observe and inspect HVAC equipment to determine status and perform repairs as needed.
• Provide recommendations for equipment upgrades.
• Maintain and repair commercial food service equipment.
• Replace and repair plumbing equipment.
• Provide cost analysis figures for repairs; update databases and files.
• On-call after hours for emergencies and essential personnel.
• Other duties as assigned.
